Sword Art Online Season 1

I know Sword Art Online is not the first anime to take place in an MMO, but its the first one I have watched. I have loved MMO's since my days back in Ultima Online, and to have an anime which takes place in that universe is perfect for me. SAO has had my interest from the beginning, and with season one over, it never disappointed. 

Permanent Death in an MMORPG

I've been watching the new anime "Sword Art Online" and it has me thinking about why more MMORPG's don't use permanent death as a feature, or even just an option. I know there must be a crowd out there who would play something like this. But maybe even the people who think they want a game like this, would quickly get frustrated and quit?

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Marathon Complete

For the past five days I have set aside everything but work, absorbed in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. The marathon is finally finished and before I peel myself away from my computer monitor, I will lay this affair to rest with my thoughts.

Kids on the Slope Early Impression

The Director of Cowboy Bebop, Shinichirō Watanabe has returned with another jazz filled anime, Kids on the Slope. While not many shows can even be mentioned in the same sentence as Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope has a lot of potential.
